When using a secure WIFI network, you may be given a long string of numbers to enter
You're at a hotel or friend's house and you need to access a secure WIFI network with a long security keycode (24 Numbers). While you’re typing them in, Windows may hide the numbers with asterisks (*), thus preventing you from seeing the numbers and verifying if they are correct. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to get all the numbers into both fields when you can't see them.
To avoid this problem, use a text editor such as Notepad or Microsoft Word, type the security key in the text editor, verify it’s correct, highlight the numbers and select <Ctrl>-C to copy from the edit menu.
Go back to the security screen to enter key code and and select <Ctrl>-V to paste the numbers. Repeat this procedure if you're asked for the same set of numbers again.
